Field Coach – Ryan Ciriello

Ryan

Ryan first started playing hockey when he was three and a half years old under the guidance of his grandfather and Lou. It wasn’t long before they were at the hockey ground longer than they were at home. With every carnival, training and game,he quickly became addicted to hockey, he also was selected to play in the red Devils Zone Team in the Under 12’s

He is now 27 years of age and still loves the game as much as he did when he was young. As his body gets older and he gets wiser, he looks at how he can teach the game to a new generation. He coached the U16 mixed team at Dandenong Hockey Club and took them all the way to the grand final, from there he was appointed to coach the U16 boys Sharks at the Junior State Championship.

He has loved every moment of his coaching career and now looks to see the next generation of Hockey excel and ultimately see some of the kids he’s coached play for Australia.
